My Therapy Approach
Grief and loss presents itself in a basket of multifactorial components. Grief tugs at our hearts and minds through any significant loss or conflict. I have a strong passion for helping people who are struggling with grief and loss from the death of a loved one, trauma, relationship issues, blended families, career issues, or life’s trials and tribulations. In a world where we tend to avoid grief and loss in hope it will simply disappear, we almost always find it creeping back in. This can be intentionally or unintentionally. This may occur in the form of depression, and many other behavioral aspects. I often hear “I feel stuck”.
Compassion and integrity are at the core of my practice. My goal is to foster hope. My view is that of being supportive and collaborative, using ethical and evidence-based approaches to meet your need. I will use my skills as a psychotherapist to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment. I will join you on your journey toward peace, resolution, and coping.
No matter how busy or challenging life may be, we are all deserving of the opportunity for self-care and healing. A strong therapeutic alliance is vital to a successful outcome. Therefore, an appropriate therapeutic fit is important. My experience is strong as grief and loss are my niche. It is my privilege to provide you with support and guidance.
